This was created in the Fall of 2004 at Rutgers-Camden. 'Yo Prof' is the first Gritty Brits recording with vocals. It was the hit of the Rutgers-Camden Music Dept for some time. Now it's relegated to cult status.
1. intro
Upon hearing this song I think of a brown wooded hall, etched with detail. Baroque maybe.
2. down at the ship
I didn't know what to do with this song for a while. It was only the cloud-like beginning for a long time, just sitting on the dark blue disk I had with a 014 song name so I could recognize it (I only named songs when they were complete). I had used arpeggios before but only in basic songs, like 'additional' on the previous ep. I thought the song sounded like the wooden planks with iron nails in them like the ones on a ship, or frayed brown ropes in a square pattern hanging somewhere above.
